New Buildzoom data show details of major renovations to Boston’s TD Garden. In October 2014 the home of the Bruins and the Celtics unveiled Phase I of its planned $70 million overhaul of the arena’s concessions, retail spaces, seating and signage. New high-density Wi-Fi has been installed throughout the facility, part of a system that uses Cisco’s “Connected Stadium” networks and “StadiumVision”.
[threecol_two]The next phase of the plans are underway now, with this nearly $11 million permit to complete a new Pro Shop, upgrade wireless networks in a number of new concession areas, and introduce new crowd flow designs near entrances and exits. These upgrades, once complete, should make TD Garden one of the most advanced sport facilities in the country, even as it approaches its second full decade in use.
